I offer individual therapy focusing on collaboration and building a trusting relationship- you are the expert in your own life, my job is to use my training and experience to help guide you to living authentically. This can look many different ways based on your goals. I practice from a narrative based therapy prioritizing your story, values, and identities first. I encourage my client’s to come into counseling with whatever is on your mind that day. I’ll ask questions, notice patterns, and work together to develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

I do not currently offer in person therapy. I provide telehealth therapy through a secure video platform. Telehealth allows for more flexibility and accommodations with the same amount of depth, healing, and connection.

That is a completely normal part of the process! And exactly what a 15 minute consultation meeting is for. Working with a therapist who you are comfortable with is an important part of success in therapy. Scheduling a complimentary consultation is the best place to start to see if we're a good fit.

I recommend client’s begin therapy by meeting at a set time each week. A big part of success in therapy is commitment and consistency. If/when we meet your therapeutic goals we can assess the need for weekly therapy and move towards bi-weekly or monthly sessions.
Consistency in therapy helps to create a reliable structure for us to begin working towards your goals.
Of course, life happens! I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel or miss session within this 24 hour window you will be charged in full for your session ($150). When you give me at least 24 hours' notice, I'm happy to reschedule you to a different time slot.
These policies help protect the time and space needed for therapy to be effective.

Yes. I currently work with Premera Blue Cross, Regence, and Aetna. Everyone’s insurance is different, if you want to know what your costs will be you can call the number on the back of your insurance card to inquire about your mental health coverage, deductible, and co-payments. If your insurance is not listed, you be considered an out-of-pocket client.

If you are interested in working with me without utilizing insurance, my current rates are $150 per session.

Our first session is called an intake session. This is where we begin! I will explain confidentiality, billing, and cancellation policies. I will save time to answer any questions you may have regarding paperwork or insurance. Then we will dive into learning more about you, your story, and what brings you to counseling.
